elindra SG I read that too The way she was lambasting that Derek Wee guy I thought he was whining about his hard-up story to the press till I read his letter which I think is pretty well-written and thought out. He was not even the hard-up and out begger she made him out to be. The jokes she made about his grasp of the English language was totally uncalled for as well. 18 isn't exactly young but I think her parents have been letting her view the world in seriously tinted rose-coloured glasses. To think that her father is a MP is shocking too.
av98m SG Actually, the fact that her father is a PAP MP makes it very clear why she behaves in this manner. She is her father's daughter, no doubt about it.

the Bear SG that dumb chick will grow up thinking the public bus us ordinary people squeeze into is a larger version of that Merc she's chauffeured around in.. and that the MRT people cram into is a bigger version of the bus... that normal people have maids and servants to wait on them hand and foot... and probably maids are "non-humans" i'm tired as heck.. i need to go read up a pile of stuff in the weekend, and worse, the boss has told me to do a pile of slides.. i've done that but she's not in the office to okay it... i wanted to take half the day off.. tomorrow, if i can, i want to take half the day off... but since she's not seen the slides, i doubt i can gotta come to work on saturday.. that's the worst bit.. and i was looking forward to some serious sleeping in the weekends oh well.. i think a couple more week, i should be right as rain.. just that i'll not do any heavy lifting for a year or so.. as a precaution

the Bear SG i mixed around with all kinds... i'm tolerated by all... but i never belonged... in fact, all my life, i've never belonged.. anywhere.. maybe one day i'll find that place.. somewhere or someone i'll belong to

I have friends who are way way richer than they are and I also know people from the Wee family as in related to the very famous and rich Wee in Singapore but they DO NOT behave nor think like Wee Shu Min. Maybe the rich folks I know all act like normal folks and yes they do take the public transport occasionally too believe it or not and they don't stick their noses in the air, nor do their kids have such snobbish and elitist mentality.
av98m SG All I can say is that I regret doing my 2.5 years of national service. With the benefit of hindsight, I really should have studied overseas and migrated elsewhere.

the Bear SG yeah.. it was on CNA.. PSI:14.. not bad.. we have CNA on in the office all the time because we're Corporate Comms Div anyway, i just gave away a box of cheese and bacon shapes and a pack of mushroom crisps... because my appetite has gone down to the level that if av was me, he'd have killed himself i had half a bowl of wantan noodles in the morning for breakfast, 1 cup of kopi-o and 1 cup of kopi all day... and i still don't feel hungry... oh... been drinking water too.. the darn painkillers makes my mouth really dry... i need to knock a new hole in my belt.. it's.. uhh.. too long for me now and so are all my pants
sbst275 SG The elevated MRT stn should be fitted with doors! I believe many ppl would go commit suicide in the same manner....
